H & M Intermediaries Europe boosts Construction market with VHV partnership

H & M Intermediaries Europe strengthens its position in Construction market with a series of key appointments and strategic partnership with VHV.

H & M Intermediaries Europe today announces a series of key appointments to its newly established Engineering & Construction Hub, which are all effective immediately, and a strategic partnership with VHV Allgemeine Versicherung AG, part of the VHV Group (‘VHV’).  VHV is the leading specialist insurer for the construction industry and one of the largest motor and liability insurers in Germany.  These announcements reflect H & M Intermediaries Europe’s strategy to invest in underwriting expertise and product innovation to enhance the service to its broker and client network.

• Christian W. Müller – over 25 years industry experience as Underwriting Manager leading the International & Swiss Construction Team at AXA XL Insurance – joins H & M Intermediaries Europe as Head of Engineering & Construction Europe.
• Dan Georgescu – 23 years insurance industry experience – joins H & M Intermediaries Europe as Underwriter Manager, based in Zurich, Switzerland.
• Giulio Dragone – 15 years insurance industry experience – joins H & M Intermediaries Italia as Head of Engineering, based in Milan, Italy.
• Hakan Hedin – 32 years insurance industry experience – joins H & M Intermediaries Nordics as Head of Engineering, based in Stockholm, Sweden.
• Gürhan Metin – 19 years insurance industry experience – joins H & M Intermediaries Deutschland as Head of Engineering, based in Hamburg, Germany.
• Robin Adriaansen – 12 years insurance industry experience – joins H & M Intermediaries Benelux as Head of Engineering, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
• Imke Swierstra – 12 years insurance industry experience – joins H & M Intermediaries Benelux as Lead Underwriter Engineering, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

H & M Intermediaries Europe’s Engineering & Construction Hub offers C.A.R. (Construction All Risks), E.A.R. (Erection All Risks), Machinery Breakdown, Completed Engineering Civil Risks, Electronic Equipment Insurance, Industrial All Risk, C.P.E. (Contractor’s Plant and Equipment), backed by VHV’s leading capacity.
