Rebecca Ince appointed as H & M Intermediaries COO, UK & Europe

H & M Intermediaries, the underwriting arm of Hyperion Insurance Group, today announced that Rebecca Ince has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, UK & Europe effective 1 September. In this role, Ince will report to Richard Clapham, Group CEO, H & M Intermediaries.


Clapham said: “Rebecca brings an in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of the insurance industry to the role of COO, UK & Europe, and her understanding of today’s strategic business challenges makes her a natural fit for us and a valuable addition to our leadership team. As the largest international MGA with considerable bench strength, H & M Intermediaries is well positioned to seize on the current market opportunities. Rebecca will play a key role in our strategy, including developing our scalable platform, as we continue to embed technology within the business to drive our ambitious plans.”


He continued: “H & M Intermediaries’s vision is to be the best underwriting business. Rebecca’s appointment supports our goal to develop products, services and processes that consistently deliver for our partners.”


Prior to joining H & M Intermediaries, Ince worked at Hiscox for over 18 years in progressively senior roles most recently as Brexit Business Solutions Lead and CFO/COO of its MGA Business Unit.
